News Web (Text and photo by Qin Junda from Environment and Food Engineering School) On October 26, 2017, to enhance the food inspection and test work and guarantee food safety, the joint inspection team composed of Liu Shouqian, Luo Ping and Dai Xiangdong, three experts from Guangxi Analysis and Test Research Center selected by Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau of Autonomous Region, and four officers from Liuzhou Municipal Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau including Liang Kun, carried out the “unannounced inspection” in Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College Inspection and Test Co., Ltd. This unannounced inspection was an unannounced inspection of Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau of Autonomous Region without prior notice to the third-party inspection and test institutions with the qualification of CMA certification selected in the form of “double random selection” based on the gist of the document Notification on the Implementation of Specialized Supervisory Inspection on Qualification Certification of the Inspection and Test Institutions in the Region 2017. The focus was to inspect the food and environmental inspection and test institutions in Liuzhou City as well as relevant situations of the compliance with laws and regulations and the provision of inspection and test for the society of the aforementioned inspection and test institutions.

Environment and Food Engineering School attached great importance to this unannounced inspection. Huang Ning, the Deputy Dean (in charge of the work) and Li Xiaoling, the Deputy Party Secretary together with Qin Junda and Shi Shaoming, authorized signatories of test conclusion, and administrative director, technical director and technicians of Inspection and Test Company welcomed the inspection team. In the brief welcome ceremony, Mr. Huang, the Deputy Dean, made a brief introduction to the company. After the expert team leader announced the working mode, contents of inspection and work disciplines of the inspection team, they carried out the careful and meticulous inspection.

The expert team carried out the unannounced inspection through site inspection on the business license, qualification certificate, laboratory building, working conditions of inspection device and equipment, work record of sampling and inspection/test of the company. They also provided two unknown samples for inspection at site and require the submission of test report within the time limit. Relevant leaders of the School and relevant personnel of the Company accompanied the expert team in the inspection of company laboratory and relevant device and equipment. The staff of the company had made preparations and could provide the documents for inspection at any time. The technicians analyzed the unknown samples for unannounced inspection on tight schedule and the inspection of the team was carried out in good order.

After the whole day’s continuous work, the unannounced inspection was accomplished successfully at about 7:30 pm. The expert team was satisfied with the laboratory building, operational conditions of instruments and equipment, work records of sampling and inspection and test that were inspected, as well as the test result of the unknown samples. At this moment, Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College Inspection and Test Co., Ltd successfully passed the “unannounced inspection” of Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau of Autonomous Region

In this unannounced inspection, the expert team was satisfied with the operational mode and working conditions of Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College Inspection and Test Co., Ltd and gave standard and professional guidance on the inspection and test activities of the Company. This unannounced inspection helped to improve the work efficiency and management level of Liuzhou Vocational and Technical College Inspection and Test Co., Ltd and greatly promoted the continuous improvement of standardization and validity of inspection and test.
